Monica graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BS in Consumer Affairs from the school of Applied Arts and Sciences (Home Economics) and a minor in Marketing. She has lived in Indianapolis since 1985. After working in the food industry as an Assistant Manager of a Restaurant, a Merchandiser, Office Manger, and Sales Representative and after traveling parts of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri, she transitioned into Real Estate in 1993 and has been a full time REALTOR since. She got her Broker's License in 1999 and joined Carpenter Realtors later that year.

She grew up in Illinois on the Family Farm. That Farm is being managed by her Brother today. So there have been times he has called her back to help out when she is available. She can drive the Combine, the Tractor, and Operate the Grain Cart.

Because of her Consumer Affairs background she tries to keep her clients informed during the transaction process. Her focus is being detailed oriented and thorough.
